LABEL is the oldest DANCE music label having been started in 1978. Mel is seeking anything innovative across any DANCE genre. Send links to your music by email only please direct to the A&R guy.

LABEL also has a publishing division which has international sub publishing / admin through a eading independent Music Publisher. Douglas is the former manager of Alexis Korner and was A&R / International Director at B&C Records ( Atomic Rooster, Steel Eye Span, Nazareth etc) and responsible for the formation of Charisma Records, the home of Genesis and Nice. Douglas is looking for a suitable act to sign to a development and packaging deal which will finance demos, photography etc. to the point where he can confidently market you to his major label contacts.

PUBLISHER has been trading for just over a year and is a new offshoot of a Management and Record Co. They have 5 writers on the roster already and are looking for a couple more who can write top quality POP songs. MD, Mike, says he is committed to finding artists to cover songs written by any writer he signs. Kick things off with an email to introduce yourself and your music.

MANAGEMENT CO is based in Manchester and is involved in the rich seam of talent and opportunity in that city. They have 2 artists on the roster, one with a deal at Kitchenware / Sony and one out on Fierce Panda. Main man is Tim who says he is now looking to add a young ROCK BAND with big ambitions and a hard working ethic, preferably from the North or North West of England. Tim also tells me they have a new sync library for which he is open to material in all genres from acts that own ALL the associated rights for use in Film/TV etc

LABEL/PUBLISHER has wide ranging operations including recording, production, publishing and PR. Published artists benefit from the network and experience of publishing partners who are one of the world's largest and most prestigious independent publishing companies. Director Mark says they are open to considering world-wide artists in a wide range of commercial genres for both publishing and label deals to join their current roster.

LABEL has grabbed the attention of the world's leading DJs, press and most importantly the record buying public with their fresh and unique approach to underground HOUSE MUSIC. The label's releases range from deep house groovers, through Chicago influenced jackers, to acid and tech house floor rockers. Partner, Ian, says he in interested in hearing well produced, quality deep and tech HOUSE focused on club dance-floors from anywhere in the world.

LABEL in looking for a Stunning female artist, duet, or group.They have songs for you if you are into Funki, tribal, electro, drum & bass, urban, & dancehall. You must stunning, sexy to look at, glamorous, good looking, able to sing, dance, and perform well. Your model features should be photogenic and you should be down to earth, fun to work with with a good sence of humour and have good fashion dress style which is essential: Rihanna, Beyonce, Sugar Babes, Lady Gaga, Alysia Dixson, Alicia keys, Naomie Cambell, Katie Price (Jordan), Tyra Banks, Lil Kim and Pink, all spring to mind as the sort of image they are looking for.

LABEL has been around since 2002 and is the label arm of a Management Co dealing with INDIE/ROCK orientated bands and solo artists. Distribution is through Universal. Peter is only interested in fully formed UK based bands that have been Together for at least 2 years and built up an audience for their music through lots of gigs, evidenced by a contactable fan-base list and good myspace numbers. Your music should be Indie or Rock based but not Metal or US sounding.

LABEL was formed in January 2008 with the specific vision of offering bespoke solutions to guide talent through the digital age. It operates a traditional ‘indie’ label with Pan European distribution via Essential, a publishing Co which has acquired the rights to one band and two songwriters on the La Roux debut album and has began work on a residential studio complex near Bath. A&R Manager, Barry, tells me he is looking for artists that have proven commercial appeal in ANY popular genre.

MANAGEMENT CO is always looking for distinctive hit material for their artists! They have three acts at the moment. Main man, Paul, would also be open to taking on a new MAINSTREAM act in any radio friendly genre to join the three acts already in his stable.

PRODUCER/writer/programmer/arranger who has worked hits for Liberty X, Plan B, Paloma Faith and Depech Mode, and on Films, such as The Business and Adulthood. His company always has hot tracks available for syncs and licensing world-wide. He is interested maybe, in offering some sort of production deal to a UK based, serious and committed act that impresses him with their potential. For this you are likely to be young people[16-20] with outstanding vocal talent who look unique and stand out in a crowd, be able to play an instrument to a high standard and willing to work hard with no attitude.

MANAGEMENT CO says they have years of experience developing recording artists, songwriters, and lots of years of working in major publishers. Mickey say they can offer management and publishing deals to INDIE ROCK / POP acts that write their own great material, and have a great live set.

GERMAN LABEL put out about 14 releases a year across their main label and sub-labels. CEO, Riad, says he is always ready to check out new acts and re-mixers, from anywhere in the world, to sign to his labels and also for tracks to license for release on their compilations. The genre range covers TECHNO, HOUSE, ELECTRO and DANCE.

SYNC LIBRARY have requested another mention because they have recently signed material from Bandit subscribers Aqualash, Phil Ogden, Dave Major and Freddie Charles. They provide fine quality music for a variety of multimedia purposes. They source and produce all types of music and clear all rights, and organise licences, so you don t have to worry about any legal and administrative aspects. A&R Coordinator, Jessica, is open to music for a variety of sync opportunities. All ROCK, INDIE, R&B and POP to CLASSICAL, ORCHESTRAL and ACOUSTIC styles accepted but must be recorded to a professional standard and should be cutting edge and easily synchronisable.

LABEL/MANAGEMENT CO deal with the management and promotion of HIP HOP and RAP artist/producers and would like to connect with anyone who produces top level tracks in these areas, from anywhere in the world, for possible management or recording deals and also for consideration for a number of live events they organise in the UK and Europe.

MANAGER with two charting acts tells me they are ready to consider an extra act in any commercial genre.

They work with major labels as well as indies to develop brands and marketing strategies for their Artists and also manage their own roster of acts.
